Nora Zeid is an award-winning illustrator and visual artist based in Dubai.

Nora’s work focuses on representing culture and heritage. Her illustrations, both coloured and black and white, depict bustling cityscape, intricate patterns and lively scenes celebrating the regions.

Nora research revolves around collecting stories and memories. She weaves them with the historical and cultural context of the spaces in which they happened, inviting people to look at their built heritage from multiple different perspectives. This creates a duality, between the personal and the general, the small and the big picture, making the topic of heritage more accessible.

She is currently collaborating with the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation on her first short graphic novel, funded by the British Council which is set to release in spring of 2025.
